Sexual problems

The two of us got to know each other as students. Humans have always fascinated us both. How people live and communicate, what drives them, and how they work; which systems they develop, and how they imagine a good life.

History, literary studies, philosophy, marketing, communication science, sociology, cultural management, systemic counseling and art…

These are the fields through which we’ve moved. We both turned our interests into a profession. One is advisory and communicative in subculture(s) and creative industries. The other is committed and attentive to politics, research, and counseling. Amazed, open, and questioning–with attitude–we remain human-oriented. We have had experiences for 25 years: from group dynamics, via Psychoanalysis, to Tantra.

Since 2010 we have a new focus: Sexuality.

It has grown slowly with questions about ourselves. With increasing curiosity and fascination, we started looking. We met people and traveled a lot. We attended festivals, workshops, and conferences in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, India, England, America, Italy, Sweden, Denmark, Israel, and the Czech Republic.

We were interested in how people live their sexuality and relationships. What they want and which forms of life they choose. We researched ourselves and questioned patterns.

In 2013 we decided to make a commitment to our new profession.

Further seminars in Germany and abroad followed. We completed training as Life and Social Counselors. At the same time, we started studying sex counseling at the Institute for Psychosocial Intervention and Communication Research at the University of Innsbruck.

Here we were able to connect our experiences and skills within the scientific frameworks of Counseling and Therapy.

2016 Foundation of EROS & du

We offer psychological counseling, couples and sexual therapy.

“It’s not about performance–not about frequency, but about quality. What is erotic intimacy? Simply put, it´s basically when core aspects of yourself are revealed in the sexual space (…) It´s not about getting it done. It´s about making it last. It´s about cultivating the wanting. (Esther Perel, Workshop documents “Rekindling Desire” 2016)
